The predecessor of Phu Tai Joint Stock Company (Phu Tai JSC) is Phu Tai Construction Materials Manufacturing Company, abbreviated as Phu Tai Company (Decision No. 124/QD-QK). Based on the merger of 03 units: Enterprise 380; Enterprise 224; An Truong Construction Materials Manufacturing Enterprise. In 2004, the Minister of National Defense decided to convert Phu Tai Company under Military Region 5 into Phu Tai Joint Stock Company. In early January 2005, Phu Tai Joint Stock Company officially started operating under the model of a joint stock company focusing on investing in the fields of wood processing and stone cladding production. Up to now, the company has owned 11 branches including stone and wood processing factories in all provinces and cities and 10 member companies under the corporation.
